Series: Berlin Spiral Jetty

The exact shape, size and geographical orientation of Robert Smithson’s iconic Spiral Jetty piece was imposed over Berlin on Google Earth in on of the only areas of the city which could accommodate it.

These drawings document the geographical coordinates along the path when walking along the shadow of the Spiral Jetty.

Each drawing is an exact, to-scale copy of a single coordinate, but in being taken out of context is abstracted.
